MARÍA JOSÉ DÍEZ
She holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from U.C.M. and graduated with a specialization in Production from the International Film and Television School in San Antonio de los Baños (EICTV). She has worked for over twenty years in the field of film production, serving as an Executive Producer on titles such as “Las horas del día” (Fipresci Directors’ Fortnight, Cannes 2003), “Un instante en la vida ajena” (Goya Best Documentary 2004), and “La soledad” (Goya Best Director and Best Film 2008). As a Production Manager, she has collaborated with directors such as Jaime Rosales, Gerardo Olivares, Rodrigo Sorogoyen, and Víctor Erice, among others. For her work on “Cinco Lobitos” by Alauda Ruiz de Azúa, she was nominated for Best Production Direction at the 2023 Goya Awards. Simultaneously, she has been actively involved in teaching, providing classes, courses, and consultations to students from over twenty nationalities for various national and international institutions, organizations, and programs. In 2023, she joined LAZONA as physical production supervisor.
