
MARÍA JOSÉ DÍEZ
With a degree in Image Sciences from the U.C.M. and a degree in Production from the International Film and Television School of San Antonio de los Baños (EICTV), she has worked for over twenty years in the field of film production, working as Executive Producer on titles such as Las horas del día (Fipresci Directors’ Fortnight, Cannes 2003), Un instante en la vida ajena (Goya Best Documentary 2004) and La soledad (Goya Best Director and Best Film 2008). As Production Director she has worked with filmmakers such as Jaime Rosales, Gerardo Olivares, Rodrigo Sorogoyen and Víctor Erice, among others. She has been nominated for Best Production Director at the Goya Awards for her work on Cinco Lobitos by Alauda Ruiz de Azúa and Cerrar los ojos by Víctor Erice, in 2023 and 2024 respectively. At the same time, he has developed an intense consultancy and teaching work for different institutions, organisations and national and international programmes. In 2023 she joined LAZONA as Physical Production Supervisor.
