When the fall is coming
Michelle, an energetic grandmother, lives a quiet retirement in a small village in Burgundy. Her life changes when, stressed by her daughter’s visit, she cooks her daughter some toxic wild mushrooms. Everything that follows seems to be the result of misfortune, but the shadow of doubt grows when she meets the son of her best friend Marie-Claude, who has just been released from prison.
About the movie:
Directed by François Ozon and starring Hélène Vincent, Josiane Balasko, Ludivine Sagnier and Pierre Lottin, the film is taking part in the Official Selection of the 72nd San Sebastian International Film Festival. This is the sixth time that the award-winning French director has competed for the Golden Shell, which he won, along with the Jury Prize for Best Screenplay, with In the House.
LAZONA Pictures and Caramel Films will distribute the film in cinemas on 13 December 2024.
